Addressing Common Household Repairs using Epoxy Resin

Epoxy Resin Home Care Guide

Save Time & Money with DIY Epoxy Resin…

We’ve all been there. Knowing there are some items around the house that need addressing. But the questions remain whether to “call the guy,” and the expense that entails; or do we tackle the repair challenge on our own - stretching our do-it-yourself (DIY) muscles?

While DIY is certainly a less-expensive alternative to hiring a vendor; there are time and expertise factors to consider (not to mention trips to the hardware store). However, once you’ve acquired a collection of the right tools and some trial-and-error experience; completing tasks around your home becomes second nature and fills one with a sense of accomplishment.

Personally, I prefer hand tools to power tools – my only power tool is an electric (battery operated) drill. I find the precision due to the touch of hand tools to be much more to my liking – and I rarely have accidents such as stripping bolts, nuts, screws and their substrates. Basic necessities tool-wise should include: screwdriver sets (both standard & Phillips), sockets & open-end wrenches (both metric & SAE), a variety of adjustable wrenches & pliers, a tape measure, a hammer or two, and some vice grips and clamps as these come in very handy for many tasks.
